People List view - date sorting results in empty dates at top & bottom w/non-empty dates in the middle. Why?

Thanks for that observation! In light of that, there seems to be a need for a clarification as to whether that is intended as part of the sorting feature.

A little unclear why the sorting on “abt” is not all together – might have to do with the SortDate field also be used.
