  • New: Switch to new Ancestry API. Ancestry is switching to a new API (the system RootsMagic uses to communicate with it). RootsMagic users should experience better reliability in uploading and downloading data from Ancestry. Very shortly, Ancestry will be turning off the old API, and all versions of RootsMagic before 11.1.0 will no longer be able to interact with Ancestry.

  • Fixed: Random “list out of bounds” errors when navigating lists of people

  • Fixed: Deleting a rules group could cause future rules groups to start with the wrong set of rules

  • Fixed: Changing to a different color code set didn’t update the Bookmarks and Life Summary

  • Fixed: On the Edit Person notes page, the general note could be saved as a birth note too

  • New: Added new LDS temple codes

  • Fixed: Ancestry - notes containing “Class.” no longer cause problems when uploaded

  • Fixed: Ancestry - adding a marriage fact no longer adds spurious “alternate sex” facts to the spouse

  • Fixed: Ancestry - .html files download correctly

  • Fixed: Ancestry - several upload and download issues with the older API
