A 70 something male of multi-racial origins spanning 3 continents, currently residing in Australia.
My interest in genealogy spans some 40 plus years, coinciding with my interest in technology, particularly (personal) computers and helping my partner marry the two together. We have both taken DNA tests and manage the kits of some 18 other family members.
We maintain a single tree to trace both mine and my partner’s ancestors from across the globe. The single tree method has enabled us to identify “crossovers” where some of our respective forebears have formed a union. We use a variety of “tools” to assist us in recording and analysing genealogical information.
