I retired May 2017, my career started back in 1969, when I started work, training to be a Mechanical Draughtsman, I have a very Varied career, after leaving the drawing board. finally working for a large American IT company, from California.

I started working on my family tree mid 1990’s researching my fathers side of the family, This provide to be quite challenging, as my Grandfather, had in fact emigrated to Connecticut in1883, from Watford, here in the UK, he then returned to the UK, sometime around 1914-16. My father and his siblings were born here between 1919 and 1925.
My grandfather returned to Connecticut, Via New York, Early February 1926, to his other family, hence the problems in trying to track him down, I had many false leads, and it probably took me 7 or 8 years to actually get to the bottom of the problem.
