I started on line family research on Ancestry in 2011. As a teenager I was interested in family history I made a handwritten hard copy family tree not big . After joining ancestry I was able to expand it, however I made the mistake of climbing the family tree from other ancestry members trees. I’ve learned to check scources first, and not take it for granted other members trees are correct. I bought Roots Magic some years ago I love having a family tree software that is not on line. How that I’m fully retired I have more uninterrupted time to research.
