mac os new versions are an annual event and developers on top of their product line normally test and launch compatible versions of their products giving mac users a pretty smooth transition. My post on RM7 was a warning that Bruce had stopped buying the needed wrapper 2+ years ago. Quite a few mac users blindly update their OS with no grasp of possible consequences (ie the transition from 32 bit to 64 bit). In our case my spouse was staying with Mojave to keep dowloading library books to her 15 year old ipod nano which also kept her RM7 functional by accident. That nano is amazing–bought in 2007 and the battery still lasts weeks between charges.
