After a long wait my browser comes back with the message “This site can’t be reached.

took too long to respond.”

Do I need to do something different? 🤔

In “About Family Atlas” it says that I am running Version 1.0.5.84( 21 Aug 2009). That makes it about 15 years old. Since I can’t get the update to work (as I mentioned in my previous post), I decided to just re-download Family Atlas from the RM downloads site and re-install on Windows . After reinstalling it still says the same thing about version and date. Maybe this is a redundant question but if I just downloaded from the website, is the latest version really 15 years old?

Just one more question I promise. If I am really running the latest version, were there any new announcements made at the RM presentation at RootsTech yesterday, (that I couldn’t see online BTW) about making upgrades to Family Atlas?

Family Atlas is still on version 1 and has not been updated. Redirect is broken. You can find Family Atlas on our website here - [Family Atlas - Genealogy Mapping and Publishing Software](https://rootsmagic.com/Family-Atlas/)

No announcements were made regarding Family Atlas at RootsTech.

I guess if there arent any updates being made for Family Atlas, it isn’t a big deal that the update re-direct doesn’t work. That makes sense, since it isn’t needed anyway there would be no reason to maintain it.
