1. Is there a way to use an icon that would appear on a persons profile? Example: an email icon for a living persons email address. Or, a phone handset for a telephone number? ---

Do you mean by embedding an icon in a field? RM fields do support emoji that you can enter as part of the data. Here’s an example, where (for demo purposes) put an orange diamond in a field. Clearly people are using them, including the well-regarded Connie Knox. So I think it would behoove RM to figure out what the root cause of the problems is and fix them, rather than just saying ‘don’t use them’.
