I’ve been using RM on my Mac using VMware to create a virtual machine to run Windows since forever and it’s always worked fine. However, now RM can run native on Mac I would like to upgrade from RM7 Windows to RM8 Mac taking advantage of the discount offer. Is it as simple as downloading the upgrade on my Mac?

Yes.

Of course you need to setup the appropriate folders for RM8 to use and point it at them in Settings. Then create a new RM8 file by importing your RM7 file.
