Tree Share Seems to be extremely slow since update today

Just an FYI Tree Shares seems extremely slow after the update. It’s taking forever to update, and, in some instances, data is not transferring from RM to Ancestry. PC RM 11.1.2 Not sure if its from the update or on my side.

If that is your first time running TreeShare after 11.0.4 then it’s building a new .DT11 file in the background. Once that is created you should see speed improvement the next time it’s opened. When you use “Reset TreeShare” under Settings, WebHints it will clear the .DT11 file and need to be rebuilt the next time it’s reopened. Clearing it is actually not a bad thing to do.

The other consideration is on Ancestry’s end. We’ve seen the speed flucuate. They are maintaining two APIs right now. Hopefully, once everything is switched over more resources can go to that new API, and stablize the speed.

I’m not finding reset tree share under the settings menu. Can you help me with what I’m missing
