FAILS

to replace a greater number of spaces with a lesser number (eg. double spaces mistakenly typed in a Placename or between Given and Middle name cannot be S/R’ed with a single space). PlaceClean and NameClean DO handle this.

You can find them with advanced search (group) then work them – that might be the only way. Of course if you many errors the initial work would not be fun to do manually

Confirming its been reported that Search and Replace won’t replace a double space with a single space.
