# RM8 Universal or Apple Silicon code planned soon?

Thanks for the feedback.

I am running 8.2.7.0 and have 1 - 2 access violations per week. That is a big improvement relative to past performance but still not fixed. Usually happens shortly after I have updated/added new media then on closing the individual’s edit window - access violation - do you want to send a report - restart RM8. It is not repeatable and I suspect part of the cause is me closing windows etc before RM8 can catch up!

I’m running the latest RM version using macOS 13.0.1 and have maybe one access violation a week. Agree this is a big improvement.

There’s also the known issue of access violations when RM8 is running on an external monitor. I love having RM full screen on a big monitor, but then I can’t add any facts. I hope this issue is being investigated. @rzamor1 do you know the status?
