RM Person Data Out of Syn With FS

I know many of my names have outdated data when compared to FS. I Googled how to look for these names and the response was “To determine if a name in RootsMagic 10 is out of sync with FamilySearch, check the FamilySearch Person Tools for a yellow or red icon beside the name, which indicates discrepancies or pending updates, rather than a green, in-sync icon.”

I do not see any yellow or red icons to the left of any names in my FS Person Tool People List. Am I looking in the wrong place?

First, that response is an AI generated response. Take them with a grain of salt.

Assuming you have matched your tree to FS, what you will see are colored boxes, not icons. See the attached image.

If Green you should be good (as far as being matched-- maybe not :correct"
if Yellow – means a close match. “Such as Berney vs Birney”
Blue Icon - that FSID is a match to (One or more RM Person(s) ) – when there are two or more this might get confusing
Gray Icon is not a match as (or not a link) to FS ID…

Thanks, I was hoping to see a list of names that are not in sync. Is the People Changed on FamilySearch suppose to do that?

they do have list that is out of sync.
On Main Page – whether you want to spend your time keeping in sync or doing other projects is up to you –

Not sure that answer your question or what you needed. I know there are people that work have no one that needs work (all green) but personally that is not where I want to spend my time – people change things daily - some are correct and some are not.
