Using RM 11. Now that I am using RM 11, I have run across something when adding notes. I have taken to adding a transcription of documents under research notes particularly under citations. This helps me in that I don’t have to go searching for where I put the document as lots are still in physical folders from before the internet. Doing a transcription helps me see what is actually going on.
That being said, I am finding many documents that had something written down and then crossed out. I find no way to cross out the verbiage in the note. So my feature-request is to add the ability to cross out words. There is already underline, so doing a cross out shouldn’t be too different from that.
If this request needs to be somewhere else, let me know and I’ll add the request there.
Note: different fonts and the number of distinct character glyphs and glyph styles will affect presentation (long dash, for example below in RM11 default screen font. Printing Reports will vary similarly.

I merely pasted those three types (generated by yaytext) into an RM note and then screenshotted how they appeared in the RM note editor. Their depiction (eg. long dash resembling a low presentation similar to underline) depends on fonts, styles, etc. So, if I paste them in one of my editors, with different fonts … they look like this:
NOTE: In the second image there’s a tiny little c at the end of RootsMagic for the short dash version. That appears to be caused by having unicode values (the computer numbers used to represent each character) being mixed side by side, together, but altering the presentation of that one character.
