# PH v2 compared to v3

Although I found a comparison between the “free” and “paid” version on Personal Historian, it is not clear which version it applies to.

I ask because I purchased PH v3, and the e-Book for v2.

I am hoping to find a list of what has been updated, what has been added, etc.

This would make me aware of where to sticky note that v3 may be different.

This is no way a complaint, just an information request.

If it does not exist - that is an okay answer too.

All essential “free” versions of our software are the latest version. You can check the version number under Help, About Personal Historian.

The list of what was updated between v2 and v3 is under Help, Contents, What’s new. On the Contents tab its under Introductions.

found it, (still working on that screen shot issue - apparently having everything on D:\ is causing some “issues”

It has been reported to the “engineer in the other room”

That’s an issue with the redirect. PH3 is unable to reach the server.
