When copy - paste text with indented paragraphs into Persons Notes (Persons (general) etc.) first line of the each paragraph in original text is indented. But in Notes indent dissapears, all lines start at the beginning of the line. How to save formating that indented paragraphs will be in Notes?
Indentation would typically involve Tabs and they are not supported in RM notes. It’s just a basic text editor. RootsMagic strips them out.
any kind of HTML or similar type formatting such as tables is not allowed.
There was one version that (maybe back to preview) that allowed some format characters but I believe there is a request with development to allow at east limited formatting including table and indent.
You can use SHIFT ENTER to force a new line but “breaks” are not saved as Kevin Mentioned.
But if I use space 5x or6x to create indent for text already in Notes it will work. Is this correct?

yes correct either editing text or enter first time.
You would want to hit your Enter key at the end of text already in notes, to return the cursor to the left border of the note and begin a new paragraph (or else the space 5x or 6x will commence mid-sentence and wrap around to finish the current paragraph that’s already in progress. So hit Enter before using Space(s) for indent.
