# My Heritage to RootsMagic

I have a lot of information in My Heritage. How do I transfer that information to RootsMagic? Is a GEDCOM file the way?

The only way I know is downloading a GEDCOM. There is not “TreeShare” type capability in RM8 for MyHeritage. When I merged my information from MyHeritage and Ancestry I pulled a GEDCOM from MyHeritage and imported it into a tree I downloaded into a new database using TreeShare.
