# How to add more Descriptor Categories for names entered into Descendants tab of People menu

I have only been using RootsMagic for one week and would appreciate some assistance with entering my data.
I have entered my family details in the People menu under the Descendants tab. The default categories are Name, Sex, Born, Birth Place, Died and Death Place. Can I add Marriage Date and Marriage Place?

The only view that is customizable is the People list view. See the Customize button, upper right, but marriage cannot be added here or in the customizable Add People screen. The reason being marriage is a family fact and not an individual fact. The Couple list view is where you will see the marriage date and place listed out.
