How do I import quite a number of small trees (some of which are partial duplicates) into one complete tree?

IF … IF … I am to begin using 9, how do I import a number of small trees (some of which are partial duplicates) into one complete tree?
And then, after everything is in one tree, I’ll have to clean it up.
But first, I need to get all these fragmented trees in one place.
I never used 8 because it was confusing incomprehensible jibberish to ME.
I am overwhelmed with confounding 9 confusion.

1st off I would open each file in 9 and convert them.
2nd Keep the name and you may want to Color Code the people in each file.
after you have done this for each file …
3rd Create a NEW database with just you in it
4rd Open one of the color coded files and Drag & Drop everyone into your NEW database
Repeat this for each of your smaller trees and now you will have all in 1 database.
You will have to clean up after merging them
You don’t need to Color Code the people, just an option.

Thank you, MadDog. I downloaded the full version now, and I’ll follow your steps. Much appreciated.

Thank you, MadDog. There were 21 partial and duplicate families opened and converted and that now I must endeavor join into one tree. I appreciated the routine of saving each RM7 to RM9 and hope I’ll always remember the steps. Whew. One step down. Now, onto the next. Thx.
