Was there a question here? You don’t need to move anything anywhere. RootsMagic does not store pictures - it provides a link to where you have chosen to store them. I don’t use Google Photos so am not familiar with its structure but do not know of any reason why you can’t leave them there. All my photos and document scans are in structured folders in Dropbox.

RootsMagic does not currently allow to link media to URL etc – they must be on “drive” (internal or external drive/folder location). I suspect the plan in the future will allow for this based on the database design
