I don’t see anything recent in Search, and I may have asked this years ago, but always hoping: when I click in Note for any Fact Item, and start typing, I don’t see where I can control the font for that Note. However, if I type one letter, and save and re-open the Note, it is in my chosen font size. Evidently, to be in the font size I have set in Settings, I need to Save first. However, there is no Keystroke for Save in Notes. Am I missing something? Why do I have to go around Robin Hood’s barn to get my desired font size, every time I start a Note? Is there some other way? If not, there should be, and how do I enter a feature request for either a Note Save keystroke, or a way to set the default font size in Notes?
What verison are you using? RM7 was the last version that had a font size for notes.
I have the most recent version, I’m not at my computer now, I think it’s 11? Anyway, I’m up to date.
RM11 doesn’t have a font setting for notes.
Renee, I’m also in RM11 (latest update) and see what Holly means. When first typing into a new note, the font is very small (maybe 8pt). Once you save the note and immediately reopen, it is at least a good size bigger (maybe 10pt).
It would be nice if there were an optional button at the top of the note along with the others to select a larger or smaller font size. It would come in handy in cases like an obit, where the user might have the “by-line” in a slightly smaller font and italicized. For instance:

Exactly. By default it is too small for many people. And it is extra steps to have to save, come back in to the note, just to get a larger font. When you come back in, it is whatever font size you have set in settings, Display, Font Scaling. Which I have at 130%.
I was going to say the font is exactly the same for me. If you both have the font scaling increased that would explain why it displays larger after the note is saved.
Irrespective of the font scaling in Settings, the issue surely is as Holly describes i.e. that the font is too small when you first type a note. Renee, in RM11 it is uncomfortably smaller than it should be IMO. Why isn’t it the same size as text on text on the main Edit Person screen?
Holly, love your expression “go around Robin Hood’s barn”. I know “all round the Wrekin” but I don’t think I’ve come across yours before!!
Haha, something our grandmother always used to say. I didn’t even know Robin Hood had a barn, I thought he lived in Sherwood Forest! I never heard “All around the Wrekin”, just looked it up, it seems they mean about the same thing.
