I am trying to create my own draft registration template for RM11. I’m am stuck on what should go into the source part and what should go into the citation part. Here is a screen shot of what I have so far. As you can see, I have just about everything going into the citation. I haven created any of the footnote sentences yet. Lets hear your opinions please.

What you are missing as far as a Source goes is going to be something like where you found it - ancestry.com, familysearch.org etc. - the collection, and that’s about. Then the citation should contain things like the state, city, county, district, date, and the person’s name. The stuff about height and weight etc. should surely not go into the citation. It has nothing to do with finding the record again. It should go nowhere, or in the note for a fact or in the note for the citation (the Research Note, as it’s called).
The Source + Citation should tell where you found and and where it could be found again. The actual data goes into some kind of note, either for the citation or for a fact.
