# Download tree from family search to RM10

Goto File / Import / Download from Online tree

Select Family Search

then input FSID and # of ancestors / descendants

very large trees might fail to download so keep reasonable

Thanks Kevync1985,  
The part to input FSID and # of ancestors/descendants is not clear please example…,  
I have a descendent XXXX and find that this person have more descendants (parents, sons, etc.), can I just add them after XXXX, if so how…?

you would obtain the Family search id (FS ID ) such as LRD3-XFV

that would be the starting person  
if you are only concerned about descendants you could enter 99  
I have not used that way so I can not speak. I tried a few years back with FTM. I do not want garbage in my tree and only add manually one by one.

In RootsMagic, turn on the FSID (Settings\>General Settings\>Number to Display)
