Not sure what the exact question is. Here’s are some Help pages that shows where you can mark the photo to be included in the scrapbook.

> **[Media Album](https://help.rootsmagic.com/RM11/media-album.html)**
>
> The side menu on the Edit Person form lets you switch between the main edit screen, and the person's media album. The side menu may be collapsed to only show the icons.

> **[Working with Media](https://help.rootsmagic.com/RM11/working-with-media.html)**
>
> RootsMagic lets you add unlimited media items (pictures, audio clips, video clips, or files) to your database. When you add a media item, RootsMagic stores a link to that media...

The way scrapbooks are defined in RM is pretty indirect.

The items in RM that can have scrapbooks are persons, families, sources, and places.

Items in RM that cannot have scrapbooks are facts for persons like Birth and Death, facts for families such as Marriage and Divorce, citations, and place details. Media files linked to these items can be part of scrapbooks, but if so they are a part of a larger item. For example, a media file linked to John Doe’s birth fact cannot be a part of the scrapbook for John Doe’s birth fact because facts don’t have scrapbooks. Instead, a media file linked to John Doe’s birth fact can be a part of the scrapbook for John Doe.

When you tag a media file to an item in RM, you mark it to be or not be included in the scrapbook for that item. That’s the only thing you can do – include a media file in a scrapbook or not include it in a scrapbook.
