Adding Facts Feature Request

I find the process of adding facts to an existing person in the database to be overly clicky. As a mitigation, I would suggest either of the following two scenarios:

(a) When adding a fact to an existing individual, allow the user to click on more than one fact to add to the individual from the facts pick list without having to pick the first fact, click to have it created, then go through the process again for any additional fact or facts.

(b) Allow the user to have a list of “Standard Facts” under options that will appear on most individuals in their database. Then, when adding a fact to an existing individual, when the user clicks the Add Fact button, have the program automatically add any missing fact types from the user-defined “Standard Facts”.

Thank-you for considering this request.

sounds like what you want is a version of the customizable ADD NEW PERSON screen

not sure if I mis understanding but adding fact with blank or null info does not seem best practice

I had thought of that option myself. I have quite a few individuals who were entered originally from a 125 year old printed genealogy book that had very limited details. Most of these people have names only. Thus when I am able to connect these folks to underlying records and documentation, I am often adding in birth, death, burial, education, occupation, military service, etc. I feel like I spend too much time adding each individual fact/event type rather than entering the actual documented data.
